OK ladies and gents; are you ready to be blown away with Rocket Riotâ„¢, on the spanking new Windows Phone 7? On the Thursday, October 21st, the new and improved mobile version of the awesome action-packed side-view shooter Rocket Riot, is available on Zune.
In this highly stylized eight-bit era style game, you have to blast your way through destructible environments, battle against the strangest (and coolest!) enemies, uncover tons of special power-ups  and use the regenerating environment to your own advantage.
What else is new? Besides the 48 single-player missions with progressively increasing difficulty, there is a new and unique Challenge Mode. In this mode you invite friends to take on specific challenges in order to get the highest score. And it’s all about the highscore right?
As you might know, the Windows Phone 7 (WP7) features a multi touch display, which utilizes the new control schemes of Rocket Riot perfectly. You can even use the Windows Phone 7’s tilt sensor for motion control! How cool is that?

Hi guys,
Bought the trial but it only comes with the first level and not the six it says. Maybe it’s a bug because i’ve finished the level a few times now and wanted to try out the other levels before buying it.

The same thing happens here, in the quick play menu. Campaign works fine though. Also the game doesnt respond to pressing “Back” until it finishes loading.
just about to buy.
Btw, this is the best game in the marketplace I’ve played so far

We are going to look into this when we start working on the update. The problem with these issues is that they’re spread over multiple phones. It should all work the same, but apparently sometimes it doesn’t. Can you tell me what phones you’re using?

Hey,
I just got my Samsung Focus and have downloaded the trial version of Rocket Riot, but it will not load. When I launch the game it will go through the splash screens during boot, but as soon as it gets to the main menu the game closes. I have uninstalled and re-installed the game several times and it always does the same thing. Any ideas why this would be happening? The game looks great so I would really like to give it a try.

That is odd! I do have some questions for you:
- Are you running the game while hooked up to the PC with an USB cable? If so, can you try without it.
- Are you playing music (using Zune) while starting the game?

Hi. I think there is a glitch on my copy of the game (WP7 / mobile verison). I can not get 1 of the 151 characters to spawn and thus can’t kill him for the “The things I’ve seen” achievement. I know only certain guys load on specific levels but I’ve replayed them all in particular the last stage, all the pirate levels (I’m missing the first guy / top left of page 2 character select screen) especially levels 3 and 4 because I think he should spawn there. I realize you don’t have to answer this but anything you can do to shed light on why this guy won’t load (I’ve killed 5,300 enemies, over 3,000 just searching for this guy). Am I missing something…can my copy be glitched…can it be patched? I really want this achievement even if I have to delete the game, reinstall and do it over but I hate to do that if there is some other reason he isn’t spawning. I wouldn’t bother you, the delelopers if I wasn’t starting to firmly believe there is a bug.

Hi,
i have a problem like NJDuke007. But i am missing a different guy. 2 page / second row and second from the left. I think this is a last pirate, and i have replayed all the pirate levels each 15 times but i cant get this guy. Note i did not fionish the game yet, but that shouldn’t be a problem right? Can you help me?

Some of the pirates are only in the last level, so it does matter if you’ve finished the game yet, Ondrej. If you still haven’t found the pirate you’re looking for yet, try replaying all the pirate levels. Especially the ones where the goal is not just to kill all the enemies. Since we spawn enemies randomly, it might take a while for certain characters to appear.
